Kevin has worked in the construction industry since his high school years, mostly as an equipment technician and fabricator. Kevin worked as a field tech for Empire Southwest in Arizona, a Caterpillar dealer, for 12 years. He was awarded the Flagstaff Technician of the Year in 2015 at Empire Southwest, with multiple other awards and nominations. In 2020, he decided that working on smaller equipment and working for himself was the next thing on his journey.

Amy focused on being a mother when their family started to grow and did the hard work of running a one-income family, homeschooling, and being present with her kids. When the children were ready for public school, Amy began working in the school system and worked there for 8 years, ending up in the District Office and hating every minute of it.

God laid some new adventures on both our hearts at about the same time and we started preparing for new careers. With the goal of moving near Amy’s parents and aunt in rural Idaho, the children all grown, Kevin’s knowledge of firearms, and Amy’s ability to run paperwork and deal with government entities, it was an obvious leap to gunsmithing and sales.

Kevin and Amy believe in hard work and honesty, love Jesus, and love America. We can say we have integrity, customer service, quality work, etc, but walking it out is a daily practice and we want every interaction to reflect our commitment to actually possessing those attributes. Our hope is that we are worthy ambassadors of our Heavenly Father in our personal lives as well as our professional ones.
